The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Ray Berry
Celina native Ray Berry, 80, of Tiffin, died Dec. 23, 2006, at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Toledo.
He was born May 29, 1926, in Celina, to Cyril Oran and Daisy May Denney Berry. He married Marcia L. Berry, who survives at St. Francis Home, Tiffin.
Also surviving a son, Richard W. (Linda), Waterville; a daughter, Melinda S. (Rodney) Young, Tiffin; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Eugene M.
He was a meat cutter at Paul and Dick's grocery store, Tiffin, Foodtown grocery stores in Tiffin and Sandusky, and worked at Ace Hardware, Port Clinton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Pacific Campaign. He attended The Ohio State University, playing for a season on the football team, and graduated with a degree in business from Miami Jacobs College, Dayton. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 402, and Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Masonic Lodge, all of Tiffin.
His wishes were to be cremated with no visitation or service. His ashes will be distributed in Lake Erie.
Contributions can be made to the Diabetes Foundation or Seneca Dialysis Unit.
Arrangements are by Engle-Shook Funeral Home, Tiffin.
