The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Alwilda Thobe
Alwilda B. "Wink" Thobe, 80, Fort Recovery, died at 2 a.m. Aug. 31, 2007, at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville.
She was born June 24, 1927, in Portland, Ind., to Ross and Mabel Norris Scott. On Feb. 24, 1948, she married Ivo F. Thobe, who died Aug. 24, 1974.
Surviving are four sons, Dale (Kathy), Rod (Linda), Terry (Deb) and Mike (Cindy), all of Fort Recovery; a daughter, Melissa "Missy" (Kevin) Romer, Greenville; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Scott, Wapakoneta, and Joyce Scott, Celina; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Robert and Calvin Scott Sr.; and a sister, Bonnie Stevenson.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, the Rev. Kevin Keller officiating. Burial is at Springhill Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 1-5 p.m. Sunday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
