The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Anna Severt
Anna Marie Severt, 80, of Coldwater, died at March 5, 2008, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
She was born July 11, 1927, in Coldwater to William and Theresia Leugers Liening. On May 7, 1949, she married Edward R. Severt, who died Oct. 9, 2005.
Survivors are two sons, Thomas (Lisa), and Jack (Ginny), both of Coldwater; four daughters, Patricia (Mike) Franzer, Celina, Marilyn Severt and Barbara (Frank) Elking, all of Coldwater, and Kathleen Severt, Southbury, Conn.; a brother, Robert (Jean) Liening, Tucson, Ariz.; a sister-in-law, Ruth Liening, St. Henry; and 13 grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Gerald and a daughter, Virginia Severt.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and its St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, all in Coldwater.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Daniel Schmitmeyer officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater, and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
