The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Rita Noll
Former Mercer County resident Rita P. Noll, 70, of West Unity, died at 8:57 p.m. Feb. 28, 2009, at St. Luke's Hospital, Maumee.
She was born Oct. 1, 1938, in Coldwater, to Albert Sr. and Rosina Buschor Sutter.
Surviving are seven daughters, Carol, Whitehouse, Elaine (Terry) Lowmaster, Pioneer, Janice (Carl) Sonneberger, Edon, Rebecca (Brad) Johnson, Toledo, Emmalou (Don) Warnecke, Monroe, Mich., Rosina (Eric) Metz, Hickory, Ky., and Bernadette, Ottoville; two sons, Stephen (Petra), Detroit, Mich., and Francis (Amanda), Bowling Green; three brothers, Albert Jr. (Lana) Sutter, Jerry (Pat) Sutter and Joseph (Beverly) Sutter; five sisters, Delores Cosgrove, Pat (Hank) Byke, Mary Dwelling, Theresa (Bernie) Gero and Jeannette (Sylvan) Jutte; 18 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Deceased are a son, Brian; and three brothers, Herb, Cyril and Ernest.
She was a homemaker. She was a Coldwater High School graduate and received a registered nursing degree from Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton. She attended the Victory Barn, Edgerton, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Montpelier.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Sacred Heart church, the Revs. Charles Ritter and Rosene Short officiating. Graveside services are 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson Funeral Home, Montpelier, with a Scripture service at 8 p.m.
