The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Ruth Campbell Lacy
Ruth V. Campbell Lacy, 87, of Lima, died at 10:40 p.m. Dec. 19, 2009, at the Ridge at Shawnee, Lima.
She was born Dec. 27, 1921, in Torrance, Pa., to Oliver and Bessie Fern Miller Scott. She married Lawrence Campbell, who died Sept. 18, 1973. She then married Carroll E. Lacy in Jan. 30, 1976 and he died April 9, 2009.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy Campbell, Baltimore, Md., Sharon Morgan of Phoenix, Ariz.; fourstep children, Wayne Lacy, Wapakoneta, Everett Lacy, Cridersville, Evan Lacy, Lima, and Leah (Eric) George, Fort Wayne, Ind.; seven grandchildren and 19 great- grandchildren and four stepgrandchildren.
Deceased are siblings, Harry, Herbert, Virginia Scott, Hazel Henry, Mildred McFadden, Clara Geotz and Georgia Parsons.
Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, the Rev. Jerry Wiles officiating. Burial is at Shawnee Cemetery.
Calling is 11 a.m.1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
