The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Ruth Ruwoldt
Ruth M. Ruwoldt, 86, St. Marys, died at 12:15 p.m. Sept. 19, 2010, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born March 18, 1924, in Celina to Wilbur "Dick" and Mary Muter Fetters. Her mother later re-married and was Mary Schoenleben. On Dec. 31, 1943, she married Vernon Ruwoldt, who died Dec. 1, 1971.
Surviving are five children, Jerry Ruwoldt, Ohio City, Jim (Donna) Ruwoldt, St. Marys, the Rev. Mary Kay Brown, St. Marys, Mike (Ann) Ruwoldt, St. Marys, and Bob Ruwoldt, St. Marys; a sister, Helen (Art) Thompson, Celina; and a brother, Bud (Patty) Schoenleben, Celina.
Deceased are an infant sister, Janet Fetters; a sister, Vera Halderman; a brother, Clifford Fetters; two sons-in-law, Roger Parent and the Rev. H. Hoyt Brown; and a daughter-in-law, Sue Ruwoldt.
She was a homemaker.
Private funeral rites are today, the Rev. Don Ricard officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
