The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

John Hinders
John J. Hinders, 86, Celina, died at 1:52 p.m. July 19, 2011, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton.
He was born May 30, 1925, in Celina, to Judge Homer J. and Emma Louise Pax Hinders. On Sept. 16, 1950, he married Jean Elaine Reny, who died Dec. 15, 1964. On April 16, 1966, he married Virginia A. Gabriel, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Andrew (Henni) Hinders and Peter (Lana) Hinders, all of Celina; seven daughters, Margaret Hinders (Tom Zuk), Hoboken. N. J., Joan (Eric) St. Peter, Bar Harbor, Maine, Elizabeth (Gary) Zoltan, Tallmadge, Mary (Mark) Koenig, Copley, Ann (Tom) Williamson, Fishers, Ind., Julie (Doug) Zehner, Silver Spring, Md., Christina (Bill) Isaacs, Rochester, Mich.; two brothers, Urban (Doris) Hinders, Kettering, the Rev. Joseph Hinders, Columbus; three sisters, Mary Rutledge, Englewood, Marita (Gene) Pitstick, Akron, Louise Hinders, Celina; 22 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are an infant sister, Margaret; a grandchild; and a brother-in-law, Dick Rutledge.
He was an attorney and practiced law in Celina for more than 40 years: first with his father, Homer J. Hinders (1950-1959), then with Mark Klosterman (1959-1972), then self-employed (1972-1981) and finally with his son, Andrew, (1981-1993) until he retired.
He attended Brunnerdale Seminary, Canton, and St. Joseph College, Rennselaer, Ind. He graduated from Catholic University of America Law School, Washington, D.C.
He served during World War II as a sergeant in the U. S. Army.
A member of Immaculate Conception Church, Celina, he had served on the parish council and the I.C. school board. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1800, Celina. He had been a Boy Scout leader and veterans service officer for Mercer County.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Kenneth Schnipke officiating.
There is no calling.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Raymond and Patricia Giesige Scholarship Fund at Wright State University, Lake Campus.
