The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

William Bachelor
William C. "Bill" Bachelor, 90, Northridge, died Aug. 12, 2011.
He was born Feb. 20, 1921, in Dayton, to Carl O. and Stella F. Collins Bachelor. His wife, Bengaline Leever, survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Toni Hyder (Frank) Goodwin, Dayton; two sons, Rick (Jeanette) Bachelor, Celina, and Steve (Terri) Bachelor, Dayton; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four brothers, Pierce, Earl, Carl and Marshall Bachelor; three sisters, Mae Lotterer, Ruth Vaughn and infant Pearl Lucille; and daughter-in-law, Sherrill A. Bachelor.
A 1939 graduate of Dixie High School, New Lebanon, he retired from Ohio Casualty Insurance. He was a life member of DCA, Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean Conflict.
He was a founding member of Northridge Amateur Athletic Association and was a volunteer at Grandview Hospital.
He was a former member of the Northridge Board of Education and was inducted into the Northridge Schools Hall of Fame in 2006.
Services are 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at George C. Martin Funeral Home, Northridge Chapel, Dayton, James Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery, Brookville.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Northridge Schools Scholarship Fund in his memory.
