The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Marie Duerr Eichenauer
Marie E. Duerr Eichenauer, 88, Celina, died at 2:40 p.m. Aug. 12, 2011, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Sept. 13, 1922 in Adrian, Mich., to Kenneth and Eva Leonard Sheldon. In 1940, she married Elwin H. Duerr Sr., who died July 27, 1978. She later married Russell K. Eichenauer, who died Feb. 12, 1995.
Surviving are sons, Elwin "Butch" Duerr Jr., Coldwater, and Tim Duerr, Indianapolis; three daughters, Shirley (Richard) Sibert, Celina, Linda (Roger) LaRue, Fort Wayne, Ind., and Kellie (Kurt) Hoelscher, Celina; stepchildren, Eldon (Ruthann) Eichenauer, Celina, Reitta Bransteter, Rockford; a sister, Eunice Williams, Montpelier; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and 13 step-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four siblings, Leonard Sheldon, Erma Bailey, Raymond Sheldon and Beatrice Estes; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Duerr; and a stepson-in-law, Kenneth Bransteter.
She had owned Duerr's Sewing Center in downtown Celina and retired in 1994. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina.
Service is 11 a.m. Wednesday at W.H. Dick & Sons - Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina. Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. Tuesday and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to State of the Heart Hospice or to Community Health Professionals Hospice of Celina.
