The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Carl Ransbottom
Carl Dennis Ransbottom, 73, Celina, died at 3:27 p.m. Sept. 29, 2011, at The Gardens in Celina.
He was born Nov. 26, 1937, in Celina, to Clifford M. and Kathlene E. Chapman Ransbottom.
Surviving are four children, Lori Smith, David Ransbottom and Chris Ransbottom, all of Columbus, and Renee Ransbottom, Los Angeles, Calif.; two sisters, Sue Ransbottom (Sam McGuire), Elida, and Peggy (Don) Wrinkle, Tampa, Fla.
He was a former music director at Celina City Schools and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Celina, and Sigma Nu Fraternity. A 1955 graduate of Celina High School, he earned a master's degree in music from Ohio University.
Memorial services are 4 p.m. Saturday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Jeff Conrad officiating. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
