The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Iris Chilcote
Iris Chilcote, 83, Beavercreek, died April 16, 2012.
She was born May 30, 1928, in Fort Recovery, to William and Lela Clark Kolp. In 1951, she married Jack Chilcote, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Betsy (Joseph) Paquin, Evanston, Ill., and a granddaughter.
Deceased are a son, Ted Chilcote, and a brother, Clark Kolp.
She was a member of Grace Brethren Church, Worthington, and McGregor Baptist Church, Fort Myers. She was a current member of First Baptist Church, Fairborn.
She was past president of Sweet Adelines Columbus Chapter and a member of Worthington Women's Club.
Service is 11 a.m. Friday in the Fairborn church, the Rev. Ron Plemons officiating. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Worthington.
Calling is 10 a.m. Friday until time of service at the church.
Memorials may be made to the music department at the Fairborn church or to the Alzheimer's Association.
Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, Fairborn, is handling arrangements.
