The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Louise Luken
Louise Luken, 91, of Coldwater, died May 20, 2012, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born Jan. 1, 1921, in Stryker, to Emile and Myrte Planson Haye. On Dec. 15, 1984, she married Richard "Red" Luken, who survives.
Also surviving are two stepsons, Jack (Norma) Stombaugh, Bryan, and William (Maria) Stombaugh, Pulasky; a brother, Edwin (Sharon) Haye, Palmetto, Fla.; two sisters, Pauline (Myrl) Zimmerman, Archbold, and Marguerite Siebenaler, Bryan; and three sisters-in-law, Wilda Haye of Lewiston, Idaho, Donna Haye, Stryker, and Lucille Westgerdes, St. Henry.
Deceased are her first husband, Clair Stombaugh, who died Feb. 12, 1975; a son, Bryan; two brothers, Vince and Herman Haye; a sister, Evelyn Knapp; and five brothers-in-law, Harlan Knapp, Al Siebenaler, Don and Paul Luken and Ed Westgerdes.
She retired from Hayes Albion in Bryan after 30 years and also worked at Fifty Corporation from 1955 to 1982.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Shiffler Cemetery, Bryan.
Calling is 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
