The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

William Wolf
William N. Wolf, 85, of Fort Recovery, died July 15, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 11, 1926, in Richmond, Ind., to Clarence and Glendola Hoyng Wolf. On Feb. 26, 1949, he married Margaret (Peg) Bernard.
Surviving are four daughters, Kathy (Joe) Fennig, Portland, Ind.; Mary Jane (Henry) Faller, Aurora, Ill.; Cindy (Tony) Hoying, Centerville; and Beth (Jay) Frilling, Coldwater; four sons, John (Kathy) Wolf, Fort Recovery; Chuck (Beck) Wolf, Coldwater; Dave (Ginny) Wolf, Franklin; and Steve (Megan) Wolf, Clifton; two brothers, Larry Wolf, Coldwater, and Bob (Jo Ann) Wolf, Dayton; five sisters-in-law, Flo Ferris, Grove City; Ann (Lou) Brunswick, Coldwater; Joan (Greg) Hausfeld, St. Marys; Jane (Walt) Uhlenhake, Beavercreek; and Mary Bernard, St. Henry; 24 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Deceased are a son, William Wolf Jr., and a sister-in-law, Judy Wolf.
He was a 1944 graduate of Coldwater High School and retired from J & M Manufacturing, Fort Recovery. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery.
A funeral Mass will be held at the church 10:30 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
