The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Mildred Hemmelgarn
Mildred L. Hemmelgarn, 87, Celina, died at 3 p.m. July 16, 2012, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born July 2, 1925, in St. Joe to the late Clem and Anna Brockman Steinbrunner. On June 19, 1948, she married Leroy Hemmelgarn, who died Oct. 4, 2011.
Surviving are a son, Jerry (Nancy) Hemmelgarn, Celina; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, David Hemmelgarn; two brothers, Walter Steinbrunner and Ralph Steinbrunner; and a sister, Clara Ording.
She had been employed at Stockley's and Buy-Rite in Celina. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, and IC Altar-Rosary Society.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, with the Rev. Kenneth Schnipke officiating. Burial will follow in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 5-7 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30-10 a.m. Thursday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina.
