The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Rosemary Moeller
Rosemary B. Moeller, 85, Maria Stein, died at 6 p.m. Aug. 12, 2012, at Heritage Manor Nursing Center, Minster.
She was born Oct. 1, 1926, in St. Rose, to Herman and Leona Huber Leugers. On April 12, 1947, she married Paul J. Moeller, who died Oct. 9, 2002.
Surviving are six children, James Moeller, Lytle Creek, Calif., Linda (Herb) Pleiman-Ranly, Maria Stein, Susan (Gary) Mescher, New York, N.Y., Roxanne (Randy) Spillers, Minster, Ken (Jennifer) Moeller, Louisville, Ky., and Gary (Amy) Moeller, New Bremen; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Bonnie Leugers, St. Marys, Otto (Ginny) Moeller, Vandalia, Earl (Evelyn) Moeller, Sidney, David (Margie) Moeller, Cassella, and Stanley Kremer, Montezuma; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son-in-law, Ed Pleiman; three brothers, Henry, Joseph and Arthur Leugers; and a sister, Alvina Bernard.
She worked as a nurse's aide at Heritage Manor for 30 years and compiled the Maria Stein News for area newspapers for 50 years. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, the Ladies Sodality of the church and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 571, all of Maria Stein, and the Rural Letter Carriers Auxiliary. A graduate of the former St. John High School in Maria Stein, she was a fund-raiser for the St. Peter Neurological Center.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Gene Schnipke officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
Donations may be made to the Center for Neurological Development or the Heritage Manor Activity Fund.
