The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

William Cochran
William H. Cochran, 80, St. Marys, died at 9:50 p.m. Aug. 24, 2013, at Valley Nursing Home, St. Marys.
He was born Oct. 11, 1932, in Logan County, W.Va., to Thomas and Emma Scott-Hager Cochran. On June 22, 1958, in New Bremen, he married Joann Jung, who died Dec. 7, 2010.
Survivors are a son, Charles (Theresa Crawford) Cochran, New Bremen, and a sister-in-law, Betty Long, Morristown, Tenn.
Deceased are two sisters, Louise Cochran and Louann Starkey.
He retired from Fisher Cheese Co., Wapakoneta, after 35 years of service and attended St. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. Marys. He enjoyed going to garage sales, listening to bluegrass music, fishing and spending time in the mountains of West Virginia.
Services are 7 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, West Chapel, St. Marys, the Rev. Judy Ball officiating. Burial is at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Resthaven Memory Gardens, St. Marys.
Calling is 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
