The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Fern Nuding
Fern Lucille Nuding, 94, Celina, died at 2:20 a.m. Aug. 24, 2013, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born May 13, 1919, in Washington Township, Mercer County, to Gary and Sadie Culp Bryan. On June 28, 1942, she married John Nuding, who died May 15, 2008.
Survivors are a son, Bob (Edie) Nuding, Celina; a daughter, Judy (David) Bowers, Celina; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Darwin Bryan, and a sister, Mary Ellen West.
She was a 1935 graduate of Washington Township High School and worked at the Barr Company, Celina, and in the office at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., St. Marys. She was a faithful member of Mount Tabor Church of God until her health failed.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Revs. Richard Van Horn and Tim Hollinger officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
Contributions may be made to the church and Community Health Professionals.
