The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Mary Harvey
Mary M. Harvey, 86, Monroe, Ind., died Aug. 25, 2013, at Lutheran Hospital.
She was born March 13, 1927, in Decatur, Ind., to Daniel D. and Dora G. Bailey Rhoades. On July 12, 1946, she married Donald H. Harvey, who survives.
Survivors also include four sons, Jack S. (Barb) Harvey of Decatur, Donald J. "Jim" (Vickie) Harvey of Rockford, Jerry L. (Jenny) Harvey of Decatur and Gregg A. (Lori) Harvey of Monroe; three daughters, Elaine D. (Leonard) Schug of Fort Wayne, Ind., Patty J. (Alan) Schug of Monroe and Carolyn S. (Dennis) Light of Cleveland, Tenn.; a brother, Daniel (Sandy) Rhoades Jr. of Avilla, Ind.; three sisters, Margaret L. Huffman of Hoagland, Ind., Shirley A. (Don) Williams of Churubusco, Ind., and Ethel J. Caudle of Fort Wayne; 17 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles and Delbert Rhoades; a granddaughter, Stacey Harvey; and a great-grandson, Christian Redmond.
She attended Monroe United Brethren Church. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and had worked for Shaffer Glove Factory and Wayne Novelty.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services Thursday.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home, the Rev. Jay Carter officiating. Burial will be in Ray Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Northeast Cancer Services or Riley Children's Hospital.
