The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Kathleen Kramer
Kathleen E. Kramer, 80, Rossburg, died Aug. 25, 2013, at Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville.
She was born April 30, 1933, in Portland, Ind., to Henry and Helen Daughtery Schwie-terman. On Nov. 21, 1953, she married Leo F. Kramer in Fort Recovery, and he died March 27, 1973.
Surviving are five sons, Leo A. (Pam) Kramer of Ansonia, John (Anita) Kramer of Vista, Calif., David (Erica) Kramer of Ansonia, Jerry (Beverly) Kramer of Union and Eugene Kramer of Coldwater; three daughters, Ruth (Jeff) Bitler of Minster, Marie (Tom) Hackenbract of Coshocton and Barbara (Mike) Ross of Mason; four brothers, Ben (Hilda) Schwieterman of Fort Recovery, Leo Schwieterman of Union City, Walter (Freda) Schwieterman of Portland, Ind., and Henry (Joyce) Schwieterman of Coldwater; a sister, Mary Alice (Tom) Dahlinghaus of Burkettsville; 18 grandchildren, Travis, Kami, Kori, Amber, Jeremy, Danielle, Dan, Nikki, Nigel, Denise, Ashley, Kristen, Lindsay, Kari, Abigail, Kara, Steven and Alyssa; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She formerly owned and operated the Ansonia Carry-Out and Car Wash. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville, where she belonged to the Ladies Guild.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville, the Rev. Tom Hemm officiating. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery, Burkettsville.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:45 a.m. Friday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
Memorials may be given to State of the Heart Hospice.
