The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Alonzo Brummette
Alonzo Brummette, 87, of rural Mendon, died Oct. 20, 2013, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born Feb. 22, 1926, in Claiborne County, Tenn., to John and Maggie (Berry) Brummette.
On May 31, 1947, he married Linda Evans, who preceded him in death on Feb. 12, 2008.
Surviving are two sons, Kenneth (Camilla) Brummette, Ohio City, and Paul (Jodi) Brummette, Van Wert; four daughters, Vicki Roberts, Ohio City; Judy (Dave) Highley, St. Marys; Mary (Mark) Myers, Fort Jennings, and Pauline Price (Kenneth Richardson), Delaware; 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; a brother, Milton (Fannie) Brummitt, Ten Mile, Tenn.; a sister, Arzetta Redwine of Georgia; and his beloved dog, Skamper.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother, Dorothy Cooper, Viola Patton and Harley Brummitt; two grandsons, Darrell Brummette and Mitchel McGough; and a son-in-law, James B. Price.
He retired from New Idea in Coldwater after 33 years of service, where he had worked in the foundry and was a member of the Steelworkers Union. He also had assisted Max Walter with farm work. He was a World War II veteran, having served in Germany and France, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, gardening and growing fruit and nut trees.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Randy Christian will officiate. Burial will be at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina, with military rites.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children in Chicago.
