The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Roberta Otte
Roberta L. Otte, 60, Lake Orion, Mich., formerly of Dayton, died Dec. 27, 2013, at her home in Michigan.
She was born Nov. 30, 1953, to Leonard and Loretta (Mescher) Otte. Her mother is deceased. Her father survives in Cassella.
She is also survived by brothers and sisters, Don and Sandy of Tennessee, Tom of Osgood, August and Denise of Covington, Kathy and Tim Landess, Centerville, Rick of Maria Stein and Charlene Barlage of Maria Stein; numerous nieces and nephews; and her loyal and beloved dog, Butternut.
She was also preceded in death by an infant brother and sisters, Leonard Jr., Mary Catherine and Theresa, and a sister-in-law, Chris Otte.
She worked for Delphi as a senior compensation analyst in Troy, Mich.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Catholic Church, Cassella, the Rev. Gene Schnipke officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
