The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Wallace Moorman
Wallace F. Moorman, 91, St. Henry, passed away peacefully Jan. 31, 2014, at his home.
He was born Jan. 13, 1923, in Cleveland, to Ivo and Pauline Kothman Moorman. He was married to Rosella "Toots" Kaiser Hierholzer-Moorman, who survives. His first wife, Mary June Brumfield Moorman, died in 2002.
He also is survived by seven children, Gregory E. Moorman and Regina Parramore, Vandalia, Douglas E. Moorman, Kettering, Gary J. (Cathy) Moorman, Mason, David L. (Millie) Moorman, Centerville, Joseph A. (Diana) Moorman, Kettering, Jennifer (Jim) Clark, Dayton, and Patrick J. Moorman, Dayton; stepchildren, Joan (Mark) Kunk, Versailles, Julius Hierholzer, North Star, Jody (Dan) Lange, St. Henry, June (Dale) Leistenschneider, St. Henry; a stepson-in-law, Matt (Dee) Schwieterman, Piqua; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Alice Whitacre, Springfield; a brother, Jake Moorman, Springfield; and in-laws, Marcella Hemmelgarn, Celina, and Herbert and Rosemary Kaiser, Coldwater.
Deceased is a son, Anthony R. Moorman; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Moorman; three brothers, Paul Moorman, James Moorman and Robert Moorman; a stepdaughter, Joyce Schwieterman; a stepson, Jeffery Hierholzer; and stepdaughter-in-law, Betty Hierholzer.
He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville, and St. Anthony Catholic Church, Dayton. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, worked at National Cash Register for 37 years and also worked for Dayton Church Supply. He was an avid bowler and card player, enjoyed doing puzzles, and his family was very important to him.
Funeral Mass is 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Dayton, the Rev. Chris Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton.
Calling is 1-4 p.m. Sunday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry, and 4-8 p.m. Monday at Westbrock Funeral Home, Dayton.
