The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Karen McNelly
Karen M. McNelly, 66, of Celina, passed away Feb. 24, 2014, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born June 29, 1947, in Logan County, to Earl and Betty Engle. On Oct. 16, 1966, she married Thomas R. McNelly, who died Nov. 16, 2002.
Surviving are three sons and a daughter, Heath (Susan) McNelly, New Baltimore, Mich., Hewe (Stephanie) McNelly, Greenville, Holt (Lisa) McNelly, Celina, and Hope (Timothy) Stanley, Rockford; seven grandchildren; and a brother, Charles "Dean" Engle, Springfield.
Preceding her in death were a brother, David Engle, and her parents.
A graduate of Logan Hills High School, she was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her dog, "JD."
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, with Chaplain Mark Ridgeway officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is noon until the time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
