The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Betty Roberts
Betty L. Roberts, 79, Fort Recovery, died Feb. 24, 2014, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
She was born April 6, 1934, in Covington, Ky., to James and Stella Webster Brown. On April 28, 1951, she married James E. Roberts Sr., who died Jan. 19, 2010.
Surviving are three daughters, Kathy (John) Wolf, Fort Recovery, Beck (Chuck) Wolf, Coldwater, and Kristina (Aaron) Olsen, Columbus; a son, Bob (Lori) Roberts, Portland, Ind.; a brother, Kirtley (Brenda) Brown, Morningview, Ky.; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a daughter-in-law, Sherry Roberts, Salamonia, Ind., and a brother-in-law, David Beard, Covington, Ky.
Preceding her in death were a son, James Roberts Jr., and four sisters, Vivian Whitton, Dora Hicks, Joyce Marksberry and Donna Sue Beard.
She attended Fort Recovery United Methodist Church.
Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Revs. Allan Brown and David Gordon officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
