The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Norma Prenger
Norma Jean Prenger, 81, Coldwater, died March 11, 2014, at Otterbein, St. Marys.
She was born Oct. 6, 1932, in Minster, to Joseph and Agnes Heimann Weiskittel. On Oct. 23, 1954, she married Werner Prenger, who survives in Coldwater.
Also surviving are five children, Lorraine (Rich) Grimm, Loveland, Linda (Lee) Dicke, New Bremen, Carol (Martin) Inkrott, Findlay, Nancy (Chuck) Stahl, Loveland, and David Prenger, Loveland; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Carl and Jeannie Weiskittel, Albion, Mich., and Janet and Wally Steinbrunner, Coldwater; in-laws, Angela Prenger, Mildred D. Prenger and Edwin Prenger, all of Coldwater, Viola Schmidt, Osgood, Mary Ann Lefeld, St. Henry, Ralph and Ruth Ann Prenger, Botkins, Alma Meyer, Fort Loramie, Cletus and Rosann Prenger, Minster, and Therese and Roger Schmidt, McCartyville.
She was preceded in death by in-laws, Anna Weiskittel, Alvina and Vernon Ahrens, Norbert Prenger, Leonard Prenger, Mildred E. Prenger, Raymond Schmidt, Delores and Louis Meyer, Martin Lefeld and Herman Meyer.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and its St. Ann's Altar Sodality. She enjoyed family gatherings and traveling.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson Foundation of Northwest Ohio.
