The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Rita Heindel
Rita M. Heindel, 74, of Celina, died March 21, 2014, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born March 15, 1940, in Delphos, to Carl and Isabell Hammons Wallen. On June 28, 1959, she married Marion Heindel, who survives.
Also surviving are five daughters, Wanda (Ron) Lange of Osgood, Donna (Paul) Wagner of Townville, S.C., Karen Heindel of Celina, Diana (Jeff) Bailey of Manassas, Va., and Sandy Baldwin of Toledo; two sisters, Pat Flore of Celina and Linda Heindel of Delphos; a brother, Ron (Sharon) Foust of Delphos; in-laws, Evelyn (George) Wilder of Guatemala, Elnora Levi of Columbus, Jim (Ella) Heindel of Celina, Bill (Billie Jo) Heindel of Mercer, David (Rose) Heindel of Panama City, Fla., and Mark (Jane) Heindel of Celina; stepbrother-in-law Dano Donavan and 12 grandchildren.
Deceased are stepfather Donald Foust and in-laws Ray Flore and Leo Levi.
She was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church and its Friendship Circle. A 1958 graduate of Delphos Jefferson High School, she was a loving mother and grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family, doing crafts and giving to others.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 1-6 p.m. Sunday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, and 10-11 a.m. Monday at the church.
