The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Greg Binkley
Greg Binkley, 65, Spencerville, died in his sleep May 1, 2014, at his residence after a short illness.
He was born Dec. 29, 1948, in Lima, to Keith H. and Virginia E. Schiffer Binkley, who are deceased. His stepfather, Tom Gaskill, survives in Spencerville. On March 10, 1984, he married Carla J. Hawk Goetz, who survives. He was previously married to Ruth Ann Jacks, who is deceased.
Also surviving are six children, Mike Binkley, Venedocia, Linda (Tim) Goffe, Gadston, Ala., Melissa (Stuart Cameron) Goetz, Spencerville, Shelley Goetz, New Market, Tenn., Jon (Cheryl) Goetz, Spencerville, and Jayme Goetz, Spencerville; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two brothers, Mark (Schako) Binkley, Seattle, Wash., and Paul (Cathy) Binkley, Spencerville.
He was a 1967 graduate of Spencerville High School and worked 39 years as a machine operator at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., St. Marys. He retired in 2007.
He was a longtime member and past president/trustee of the Spencerville Invincible Fire Company and was a member of the Bowersock Bros. VFW Post 6772 Mens Auxiliary, Spencerville. He enjoyed cruising his hometown in his truck and talking to his friends.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, the Rev. Tom Shobe officiating. Burial will follow at Spencerville Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the Invincible Fire Company or to the VFW Mens Auxiliary.
