The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Donna Jones
Donna B. Jones, 86, Celina, died at 10:05 p.m. July 12, 2014, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
She was born April 18, 1928, in Stryker, to Otis and Dora Mann Sloan. On Aug. 2, 1953, she married Clair Jones, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Patty (Thomas) Buening, Columbus; a brother, Vernon (Carol) Sloan, Stryker; a sister-in-law, Wilma Sloan, Bryan; and grandchildren, Matthew (Amber) Buening, Ryan Buening, Andrew Buening, Jennifer Buening and Amy Buening.
Deceased are a daughter, Jennifer Jones; a brother, Virgil Sloan; and a sister, Gertrude (Ray) Goachee.
A retired teacher, she had taught in Troy, McComb and in Seattle, Wash., while her husband was in the service. She also taught high school English in Celina and grades four, five and six at Celina East, Celina West and Immaculate Conception schools. She also had worked as a secretary at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, and her favorite job was working as a secretary at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Celina for nine years. She was a graduate of Stryker High School, Defiance College and The Ohio State University, where she earned a master's degree.
She loved her grandchildren, reading, flowers, sewing and arts and crafts. She had many close friends, nieces and nephews.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, the Rev. Matt Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, and after 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
