The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

James Kronenberger Sr.
James J. Kronenberger Sr., 83, Minster, died at 3:05 p.m. July 12, 2014, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born Feb. 27, 1931, in Dayton, to Alphons and Loretta Schwartz Kronenberger. On May 30, 1959, he married Judith Kuntz in Dayton, and she survives in Minster.
Also surviving are his children, Lori (Mike) Tangeman, Minster, Jim Jr. (Janet) Kronenberger, New Bremen, Beth (Russ) Eber. Wapakoneta, Jill Hensley, Lebanon, Andy (Heather) Kronenberger, Fletcher, Gary (Laura) Kronenberger, Cincinnati, Wendy (Jeff) Barthel, San Antonio, Texas, Heidi (Greg) Beister, Virginia Beach, Va., Bill (Danielle) Kronenberger, Waco, Texas, and Amy Kronenberger, Elida; a sister, Mary Ann (Bill) Imfeld, Centerville; in-law, Jack Ryan, Trotwood, and other in-laws; 27 grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Erin Kronenberger, and a sister, Donna Ryan.
He retired from Minster Machine. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and its men's choir, Knights of Columbus and the American Legion, all of Minster. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a lifelong Cincinnati Reds fan and an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed his grandchildren's activities.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with military rites by the Minster firing squad.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-9:30 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
