The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Richard Loughridge
Richard L. Loughridge, 81, Celina, passed away at 1:55 a.m. July 28, 2014, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
He was born May 18, 1933, in Celina, to Leslie and Ilo Ford Loughridge. On Mar. 12, 1955, he married Arolyn Jeanne "Lyn" Mosher, who survives in Celina.
Also surviving are his children, Vicki (Steve) Posada, Steve (Lorrie) Loughridge, Bill (Lisa) Loughridge, and Cindy (Ron) Green; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a brother, Chuck Miller, Celina; and a sister-in-law, Cleo Loughridge, Celina.
Deceased are brothers and sisters-in-law, James Loughridge, Lowell and Lucille Loughridge, Jerry Loughridge and Ruth Loughridge Eichenaur and Diane Miller; and sister and brother-in-law, Maxine and Maurice "Woody" Woodruff.
He graduated from Celina High School in 1951 and received his associate degree in business from Sinclair College in Dayton. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War for two years stationed at Fort Devens, Mass. He retired from Huffy Corporation in Celina after 38 years as a purchasing agent. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina American Legion Post 210 and a member of the Mercer County Elks.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina, the Rev. Matt Reynolds officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Home Health and Hospice or St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
