The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Theresa Case
Theresa M. Case, 80, St. Marys, died at 12:10 a.m. July 27, 2014, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
She was born Nov. 23, 1933, in Auglaize County, to Louis and Elizabeth Yahl Dietz. On Aug. 22, 1953, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys, she married William M. Case, who died Sept. 17, 2000.
Surviving are three daughters, Linda (Randall) Hoying, St. Henry, Diane (John) Moore, Cincinnati, and Susan (Donald) Gossman, Corydon, Ind.; a son, William (Vera) Case, St. Marys; four grandchildren, Ann Siefring, Brian Hoying, Christopher Hoying and Catherine Moore; six great-grandchildren, Owen Siefring, Oliver Siefring, Abraham Siefring, Isaac Siefring, Charles Siefring and Benjamin Hoying; three brothers, Leonard (Velma) Dietz, St. Marys, Herman (Eileen) Dietz, St. Marys, and Lawrence (Karen) Dietz, Wapakoneta; a sister, Ann Marie (Donald) Steinke, St. Marys; and a half-brother, Allen (Connie) Dietz, Celina.
Also deceased are a daughter, Carol Case; a brother, Leo (Mary) Dietz; and two sisters, Margaret (Victor) Overman and Blanche (Roman) Poeppelman.
She was a 1951 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. She was a homemaker and also had been employed at Montgomery Ward Co., Home Banking Co., and Paris Cleaners, all in St. Marys, and by Auglaize County Board of MRDD in New Bremen. A talented seamstress, she performed alterations for others through the years.
She was an active member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and its Altar Rosary Sodality, Holy Rosary Craft Club, Guiding Hands OCCL, NAIM of Northwestern Ohio, American Legion Post 323 auxiliary and After Five group at Otterbein – St. Marys.
Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the Rev. Barry Stechschulte officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 4–8 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30–10:30 a.m. Thursday at Miller–Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys. A prayer service will be conducted 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Holy Rosary Catholic Church-Capital Improvements Fund or the Alzheimer's Association.
