The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Ralph Seger
Ralph L. Seger, 67, Greenville, passed away at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 23, 2014, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 4, 1947, in Fort Loramie, to Linus B. and Juanita E. Fullenkamp Seger. On Oct. 28, 1972, he married Bonita F. Kremer, who survives.
Also surviving are five children, Maria A. (Josh) Seger-Cramer, Bradenton, Fla., Daniel R. (Chris) Seger, Ansonia, Jeannene D. (Fred) Judson, Bowling Green, Benjamin C. (Morgan) Seger, Ansonia, and David B. Seger, Columbus, Ind.; five grandchildren, Hannah Judson, Katherine Judson, Tara Seger, Nolan Seger and one expected grandchild in March; three siblings, Fr. Oscar Seger, Egypt, Madonna (Bill) Poeppelman, Yorkshire, and Bruce (Elaine) Seger, Fort Loramie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Deceased are three brothers, Donald U., Roger J. and Louis B. Seger.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a heating and cooling specialist for 42 years and farmed his entire life. He retired from Carr Supply, Greenville. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenville, and a 3rd Degree Knight of Knights of Columbus Council 1796.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenville, the Rev. John White and the Rev. Oscar Seger officiating. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park. Covington. Military honors will be conducted by the Greenville Veteran's Honor Guard.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville. A prayer service will be held at 1:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the Cancer Association of Darke County.
