The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Kenneth VanTilburg
Kenneth A. VanTilburg, 82, Fort Recovery, died Dec. 22, 2014, at Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima.
He was born July 10, 1932, in Celina to Kenneth H. and Junita Woods VanTilburg. On March 29, 1952, he married Ida Mae Denney, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Kenny (Mary) VanTilburg, Celina; a daughter, Deb Schwieterman, Celina; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Rose VanTilburg.
Deceased are a brother, Robert VanTilburg, and two sisters.
He was retired from the former Mersmans, Celina. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge 1291, Celina, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, video games and collecting things.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, the Rev. Roy Hall officiating. Burial is at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Neurological Development, Burkettsville.
