The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Luke Borger
Luke Francis Borger, 102, formerly of Celina, died peacefully at home Jan. 3, 2015.
He was born July 17, 1912, in St. Henry, to John and Anna Hemmelgarn Borger. He was married for 76 years to Mary Magdalene Borger, who is deceased.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Ann (Tony) Cremerius and Mary Jean Crenshaw, all of Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, Charles Borger, Celina; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Also deceased are a son-in-law, Edward Crenshaw, and five siblings, Ralph, Clarence, Mildred and Ruth Borger and Anna Lee Heckler.
He grew up in Celina and worked for many years at Mersman's in Celina and Cron-Kills in Piqua. While living in Ohio, he served as a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
He moved to Memphis, Tenn., in 1951, where he continued working in the furniture manufacturing business, retiring as president and CEO of Aeolian Pianos Inc. He also was past president of the National Piano Manufacturing Association and the Board of Directors Executive Committee of the American Music Conference.
He was a former member and past president of the Men's Club of St. Michael's Catholic Church and a founding member of St. Louis Catholic Church. He was a 50-year member of the Serra Club. He enjoyed golfing, traveling and boating with friends and family.
Funeral Mass was Jan. 6, 2015, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Memphis. Burial followed at Memory Park Cemetery, Memphis.
Memorials may be sent to the Monsignor Clunan Endowment Fund at the church, 203 S. White Station Road, Memphis, TN 38117; Monastery at St. Clare, 1310 Dellwood Ave., Memphis, TN 38127; or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
