The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Marcella Larger
Marcella M. Larger, 93, Dayton and formerly of St. Henry, passed away Jan. 17, 2015, at The Hospice of Dayton.
She was born to Julius and Anne Moeder. On May 20, 1950, she married Aloys Larger, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Patty (Don) Hoendorf, Connie (Dean) Steinke and Lynn (Brian) Wasserman; three sons, Bill Larger, John (Nancy) Larger and Walt Larger; two sisters, Ruth Krebs and Rose Ann Siefring; four brothers, Norbert, Richard, Jerome and Lee Moeder; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Deceased are five siblings, Mary, Rita Jones, Victor, Sister Julianne, C.PP.S., and Charles.
She was a graduate of St. Henry High School and Miami Jacobs College. She worked as a secretary at Frigidaire in her early years. After marrying, she was a stay-at-home mom raising six children. She went back to work at the age of 52 as the secretary at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church.
She was formerly a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Dayton, and later Our Lady of the Rosary, Dayton. She sang in the choir where she was lovingly called Mother Superior and Choir Mom. She was a devoted fan of the Cincinnati Reds.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, Dayton. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. today at Marker and Heller Funeral Home, Huber Heights Chapel, and 10-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
