The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Stanley Kremer
Stanley J. Kremer, 80, Montezuma, died Feb. 17, 2015.
He was born May 21, 1934, at his parents' house in Montezuma, to the late Herbert and Cecilia (Homan) Kremer. On Nov. 21, 1959, in St. Sebastian, he married Ruth (Moeller), who passed away Oct. 9, 2010.
Surviving are three children, Carol Kremer, Toledo, Lucy and Graeme Stewart, Howell, Mich., and John and Stephanie Kremer, Montezuma; three grandchildren, David, Christian and Vivienne; two brothers, Luke and Gladys Kremer, Dayton, and Lavern Kremer, Tulsa, Okla.; two sisters, Thelma and Gerald Ruchty and Agnes and Mel Bertke, all of Coldwater; and in-laws, Ott and Ginny Moeller, Vandalia, Earl and Evelyn Moeller, Sidney, and David and Margie Moeller, Cassella.
Also deceased are in-laws, Ann Kremer, Paul and Rosemary Moeller and Joseph Moeller.
He graduated in 1952 from Coldwater High School. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Montezuma, where he was a CCD teacher, president of the church council and member of the Men's Holy Name Society.
He was an original member of the Mercer County Right to Life, a three-term board of governors member at Mercer County Community Hospital, serving two years as president, and was a member of the Mercer County Republican Party.
He worked as a laboratory technician at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., St. Marys, for 46 years, 9 months and 10 days and was a lifelong farmer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Signal Corps, serving as a corporal.
His true passion in life was taking care of the family farm. He was born there, lived across the road most of his life and will be buried a quarter mile down the road.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Montezuma, Fr. Alfons Minja officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
