The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

William Zircher
William R. "Bill" Zircher, 45, Cincinnati and formerly of Minster, died unexpectedly on Feb. 16, 2015, at University Hospital, Cincinnati.
He was born Dec. 27, 1969, in San Diego, Calif., to Paul and Ellen (Van Oss) Zircher, who survive in Minster.
Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Tony and Judy Zircher, New Bremen, Sara and Ted Mescher, Indianapolis, Ind., Andy and Miranda Zircher, Lithopolis, Chris and Leigh Zircher, Columbus, and Tessa and Matt McDermitt, Minster; numerous nieces and nephews; and aunts and uncles, Bob and Betty Zircher, Minster, Gretchen and Jim Eilerman, Fort Loramie, and Mark and Jean Van Oss, Seattle, Wash.
Deceased are his grandparents, Ed and Elsie Van Oss and Louis and Marcella Zircher, and his uncle, William Zircher.
He graduated from Minster High School in 1988 and was a graduate of Xavier University. He worked as a real estate agent and for 17 years at the Heritage Club, serving friends he loved.
He was a former member and youth minister of St. Susanna Catholic Church, Mason. He enjoyed serving the community through mission work camps. He also enjoyed cards, pizza and movies with friends.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Monday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, the Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Burial will take place at St. Augustine Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1-6 p.m. Sunday and 9-9:30 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
