The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Craig Ralston
Craig "Frog" A. Ralston, 65, St. Marys, passed peacefully in the arms of Jesus at 1:41 a.m. Feb. 21, 2015, at his residence.
Mr. Ralston was born Sept. 8, 1949, the son of Robert and Edna (Goodwin) Ralston, who are deceased. On Aug. 2, 1975, in Spencerville, he married Velma Stammen-Gilbert, who died Oct. 7, 2000.
Surviving are a stepson, Allan (Nikki) Gilbert, St. Marys; a stepdaughter, Rosealee Gilbert, St. Marys; numerous stepgrandchildren; sisters, Arliss Herron, Kossuth, and Roberta Whited of Michigan; brothers, Wendel (Linda) Ralston, Van Wert, Clem (Deb) Ralston, Mendon, and Bart (Candy) Ralston, Lima; and a sister-in-law, Beth Ralston, Cincinnati.
Deceased are a brother, Robert "Sheldon" Ralston, and two brothers-in-law, Jack Herron and Charles Whited.
Mr. Ralston was a production employee in various manufacturing companies in the area, including Lima Barrel & Drum Co., St. Marys Beef Co. and Whitefeather Foods, Wapakoneta. He attended The Church of The Nazarene, Spencerville.
He greatly loved his stepchildren, whom he raised as his own. His favorite pastimes included fishing, restoring his antique John Deere tractor and attending races at Limaland Speedway.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Friday at Living Faith Ministries, 00964 Barber-Werner Road, Mendon, pastors Steve Coburn and Tom Shobe co-officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Evangelical Cemetery, adjacent to the church.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel), St. Marys.
