The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Mary Bernard
Mary L. Bernard, age 82, of St. Henry, died on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born July 23, 1932 in St. Marys, to the late Jess & Erma (Harris) Harner. On February 7, 1953, in St. Henry, she married Elmer J. 'Farmer' Bernard, who died November 26, 2007.
She is survived by four children, James & Cindy Bernard of Montezuma, John Bernard of Coldwater, JoAnn & Bruce Oatman of Ashtabula and Judy Bernard of Ogden, Utah, five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, two sisters, Joan & Vern Daniels of Kossuth and Pat Fisher of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and in-laws, Flo Ferris of Columbus, Peggy Wolf of Ft. Recovery, Joan & Greg Hausfeld of St. Marys, Ann & Lou Brunswick of Coldwater and Jane & Walter Uhlenhake of Dayton.
She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Pauline Dewey, Margaret Deitrick, Dwight, Fred, Kenny, Bob, Ralph, Harold, Eldon and Bill Harner and in-laws, Ella Gaier, Ruth Seitz, Urban Bernard, Jim Bernard, Wilma Gels and Mary Bernard.
She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, was retired from the former Huffy's in Celina and Mercer County Community Hospital. Mary was an avid bingo player.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, March 30, 2015 at St. Henry Catholic Church, with Fr. Tom Hemm, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Henry Cemetery, St. Henry.
Friends may call on Sunday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
