The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Betty Dailey
Betty A. Dailey, 63, of Rockford, Ohio, died at 3:17 p.m., on Friday, August 4, 2017, at her home, after a lengthy illness.
She was born in St. Marys, Ohio, on July 30, 1954, to Walter and Pearl (Koon) Burden. On July 18, 1987, she married Robert E. Dailey, and he preceded in death on August 26, 2012.
Betty moved from St. Marys to Rockford in 1966, and had lived here ever since. Betty loved going on long drives with her husband Bob, and spending time at their cabin in Tennessee. And she loved her son David, and all her grandchildren, who were very special to her.
Surviving is her son David Burden of Rockford; three grandchildren: Chelsea Burden, Alexis (James) Heinrich, and Harley Burden; and one great granddaughter, Layna Dunning. Four sisters and one brother also survive: Jean (Gary) Baltzell of Rockford, Kay Lauth of Spencerville, Margaret Ketcham of Celina, Rosalee Burden of St. Marys, and Randy (Pat) Burden of Celina.
Deceased are two brothers, David and John Burden and a sister, Sharon Coffman.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
