The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Sharon Rose
Sharon S. Rose, age 63, of Burkettsville, OH, died March 23, 2018 at her home. She was born September 16, 1954, in Coldwater, OH, to the late Lavern and Dorothy (Muhlenkamp) Brockman. On October 20, 1972, in St. Peter, OH, she married Jerry Rose, who survives.
Also surviving are their five children, Jason (Stacy) Rose of St. Henry, Jeff (Lisa) Rose of St. Henry, Jennifer (Andy) Delzeith of Maryville, TN, Jeremy Rose of Burkettsville, and Jamie (Chad) Rosenbeck of Burkettsville; her siblings, Gary (Janet) Brockman of Coldwater, Randy (Corienne) Brockman of St. Henry, Brenda (Roger) Kaiser of Coldwater, Mark (Cathy) Brockman of Fort Recovery, and Jan (Steve) Schoen of Fort Recovery; eight grandchildren: a brother-in-law, Jerry "Dutch" Thobe of Fort Recovery; in-laws, Shirley Crouch, Celina, Ken (Stephanie) Myers, Portland, IN, Jim (Jane) Rammel, Fort Recovery, Diane Uhlenhake, St. Henry, Dave (Kim) Rammel, Fort Recovery, Roger (Marilyn) Rammel, Fort Recovery, Clete Nietfeld, Fort Recovery, Jim Steinlage, St. Henry and Bonnie Rammel, Fort Recovery.
Preceding her in death are her sister, Beth Thobe and her in-laws, Gene Crouch, Pam Myers, Bernice Nietfeld, Helen Steinlage and Ralph Rammel.
Sharon was a 1972 graduate of Fort Recovery High School and was employed at St. Henry Schools for twenty-five years. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville, OH and the church's Ladies Guild. She also was a former lector at her church. Sharon enjoyed reading, crocheting, camping and horseback riding.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville, Ohio, with Fr. Jim Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2:00 pm-8:00 pm Monday and 9:00 am-9:45 am Tuesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
