The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

James Klingler
James L. Klingler, 71, St. Marys, OH died 3:15 a.m. Wednesday October 24, 2018 at Grand Lake Health Care Center.
He was born September 26, 1947 in Paulding, OH to Dwight C. and Josephine (Puschel) Klingler. On November 16, 1968 in Celina, OH he married Linda Lou Hoffman, who survives.
Also survived by: brother John (Kathy) Klingler of Deming, NM; sister Cheryl Brabson of Buckhorn, NM; 2 nieces and 1 nephew and their families; other extended family members in Ohio, Indiana and New Mexico.
Preceded in death by: parents Dwight and Josephine Klingler; sister Angela Klingler.
He was a graduate of Deming, NM High School (Class of 1965). He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served his country during the Viet Nam War.
A plumber, he was employed by Kogge Plumbing & Heating Co. in St. Marys for over 40 years. Following his discharge from the military, Jim was hired by Paul Kogge. He spent his entire career with Kogge's, having enjoyed the work itself, his co-workers and many valued customers.
He was a member of the VFW Post #9289 and American Legion Post #323, both in St. Marys. His pastimes included collecting hats, key chains, model trains, coins and following Cincinnati Reds Baseball. His favorite television shows were "Monk" and "NCIS."
Visitation is 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. on Saturday with rites scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. Saturday October 27, 2018 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys, with the Rev. Robert Sweeney, officiating.
Following the services, military funeral honors will be performed at the funeral home.
