The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Martha Kittle
Martha Lou Kittle, 88, of Celina, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the Celina Manor.
She was born January 5, 1930 in Celina, the daughter of John & Elizabeth (Pohl) Kramer. On October 22, 1971 she married Leonard Kittle, who died in 2010.
Martha is survived by a sister, Kathryn Garland, of Dayton, along with numerous nieces & nephews.
Preceding her in death were five sisters: Henrietta (Jay) McGriff, Dorothy (Tom) Kolp, Marie (Ted) Rengers, Isabelle Motsinger, Rita (Carl) DeCurtins, and a brother-in-law, Maurice Garland.
Martha was employed by Mersman's, Reynolds & Reynolds, and The Daily Standard. A graduate of Immaculate Conception High School, Martha was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and the Altar Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Eagles and American Legion, and a life member of the VFW, all of Celina.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Celina, at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 17. Fr. Vince Wirtner, C.PP.S., will be the presider. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery in Celina.
Calling Hours are 2:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 16, and from 9:15-10:15 a.m. on Monday, December 17, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina.
Preferred memorials may be directed to the Immaculate Conception Endowment Fund.
