The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Patricia Clott
Patricia Kay (Fiely) Clott, age 71 a resident of Portland passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at her home.
She was a 1965 graduate of Portland High School and later graduated from Amber's Beauty School.
She was a member of the Portland American Legion Auxiliary, Celina Eagles Lodge, and VFW Auxiliary in Ft. Recovery, Ohio. She loved couponing and spending time with her family.
Patricia owned and operated Guys and Gals Beauty Shop in Portland and managed the Elks Lodge in Portland, Richards Restaurant and Piedmont Apartments in Portland.
Patricia was born April 9, 1947 in Indianapolis, Indiana the daughter of Harold and Freeda (Smith) Fiely. She was married on December 27, 1990 to Donald Clott.
Survivors Include: Her beloved husband-Donald Clott, Portland, Indiana; 2 Daughters-Paula Hagaman (husband-Lonnie), Celina, Ohio, Melinda Farlow (husband-Brian), Dunkirk, Indiana; 1 Step son-Greg Clott, Crestview, Florida; 2 Sisters-Sandra Byrd (husband-Carl), Jamestown, Kentucky, Cindy Muhlenkamp (husband-Mike), Celina, Ohio; 3 Grandsons-Nathan Markle, Redkey, Indiana, Kyle Markle (wife-Jenna), Xenia, Ohio, and Chance Fuller, (wife-Hannah), Indianapolis, Indiana. Several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm Friday in the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral home in Portland.
Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Arnold officiating the service. Burial will follow at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the State of the Heart Hospice or Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Recovery.
