The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Travis Hole
Travis D. Hole, 54, of Celina, Ohio returned to his Heavenly Father June 29, 2026.
He was born to the late David and Deborah (Bowlby) Hole.
He was a Celina Senior High School graduate; retired from Ford Motor Company and racing motor sports.
Survivors include: brother Trent Hole of Saint Marys; brother Brent Hole (Wendy) of New Knoxville; sister Kaci Taylor (John) of Saint Marys; nephews Jacob Hole and Branden Taylor (Jocelyn); nieces Abigail Taylor (Tyler Paul), Allie Taylor and Natalie Taylor; great nephews Bentley Pau, Westyn Taylor and Hailey Taylor; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Also preceded in death by grandparents Donald and Lucille (Joseph) Hole, and Clarence and Janice (Canary) Bowlby.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday July 3, 2026 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys, with Pastor Jason King, officiating. Burial will follow at the Swamp College Cemetery in rural Mercer Co., OH.
Visitation 4 - 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials made to Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie # 767 in St. Marys.
