The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Paul May Jr.
Paul May Jr., 56, 300 Bruns Ave., Celina, died at 2:30 a.m. Sept. 2, 2006, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. Death was due to a massive stroke.
He was born Feb. 10, 1950, in Celina, to Paul P. and Bernice V. Forwerck May Sr, who are both deceased.
Survivors are two sons, Paul (Tara) May III, Rockford, and Christopher, Medina; a brother, Thomas O. (Pam), Celina; three sisters, Paula (Butch) Michael, Rockford, Karen (Loel), Handley, Greer, S.C., and Suzanne (Stan), Gurley, Holiday, Fla.; and seven grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Jerry Tumey.
He was a tank inspector at General Dynamics, Lima, and formerly worked at Huffy Bicycle Co., Celina; New Idea, Coldwater; and as a truck driver for Shenandoah Trucking, Fort Recovery. He was a 1968 graduate of Parkway School.
He was a 1968 graduate of Parkway High School, PRockford, a vereran of the U.S. Army, having served in Germany. He was a member of American Legion Post 210, Celina; Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6772, Spencerville; and Loyal Order of Eagles Lodge 1291, Celina.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Dean Bruce officiating. Burial is at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
