The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Virgene Mohrman
Virgene A. Mohrman, 76, of New Bremen, died at 1:05 p.m. Jan. 6, 2007, at Celina Manor Nursing Home. She was a resident for the past three years.
She was born Jan. 31, 1930, in Minster, to Ray and Dorothy Boukneckt Luedeke. On Aug. 1, 1953, she married Walter Kanorr, who is deceased. On Nov. 29, 1980, she married Herman Mohrman, who is also deceased.
Survivors are a son, Walter Kanorr Jr., New Bremen; a brother, Ben Luedeke, Coldwater; and a sister, Betty Belton, Celina.
Deceased are a brother, Cliff Luedeke and a sister, Gundi Luedeke.
She retired from the former Mersman Furniture Company, Celina. She was a member of St. Peter's Church, New Bremen, and Fraternal Order of Eagles 691, Wapakoneta.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church the Rev. Stephen Wills officiating. Burial of cremains will be at a later date at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Contributions can be made to Celina Manor Nursing Center or the local Alzheimer's Association chapter.
Arrangements are by Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen.
