The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Rhoda Wierwille
Rhoda Becker Wierwille, 86, 06603 Southland Road, New Knoxville, died at 9:35 a.m. Feb. 20, 2008, at Valley Nursing Home, St. Marys.
She was born March 8, 1921, in Lancaster, Pa., to Roy and Mamie Enck Becker. On June 29, 1963, she married Reuben A. Wierwille, who died in March 1989.
Survivors are a stepson, Bob Ed (Marsha), New Knoxville; and a stepdaughter, Annely Skapura, New Knoxville; two brothers, Donald (Suzanne) Becker, Lyndeborough, N.H., and Jerry (Ira) Becker, Houston, Texas; two sisters, Ruth Kirk, Medford, Ore., and Jane Mickey, Durham, N.C.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Kenneth Becker; and a son-in-law, Phil Skapura.
She worked as secretary and minister of music at The Way International, New Knoxville. She was a 1947 graduate of Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Ill., where she earned a music major in piano.
A date for services was not released. Burial is at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery, New Knoxville.
Arrangements are being handled by Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.
