The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Esther Post
Esther F. Post, 84, died at 4:22 p.m. May 17, 2008 at The Gardens at St. Henry where she resided.
She was born Aug. 31, 1923, in Cranberry Prairie, to Herman and Philomena Gerlach Bruggeman. On Oct. 9, 1943, she married Gregor N. Post, who died July 18, 2003.
Survivors are six sons, Virgil (Ginny) and Greg (Colleen), all of Fort Recovery, Paul (Diana) and Ron (Sandy), all of St. Henry, Linus (Carla), Coldwater, and Lee (Donna) Celina; eight daughters, Elaine (Melvin) Brunswick Jr. and Evelyn (Joe) Will, all of Fort Recovery, Jean (Thomas) Yarletts, Worthington, Teresa Ellrich, Virginia Beach, Va., Helen (Gary) Kremer, Chickasaw, Irene (Joe) Selhorst, North Star, and Doris (Dan) Hartings and Lucy (Dane) Riesen, all of Celina; a brother, Sylvester Bruggeman, St. Henry; a son-in-law, Gerald Monnin, Versailles; 51 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Kathleen Monnin; three brothers, Alvin, Ray and Leo; and two sisters, Alvera and Hilda Everman.
She was a homemaker and former employee of Fort Recovery Industries. She was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Tony Fortman officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
