The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Louise Rowe
Louise E. Rowe, 78, 11626 Heron Court, St. Marys, died at 7:08 a.m. May 15, 2008, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born Feb. 14, 1930, in Scott, to Bruce and Elsie Stiebeling Rogers. Her parents and stepmother, Edith Clinton Rogers, are deceased. On Oct. 3, 1957, she married Don W. Rowe, who survives.
Other survivors are a daughter, Beth (Craig) Metzger, Columbus; a daughter-in-law, Beth Rowe, Centerburg; a brother, Carl (Sally) Rogers, Las Vegas, Nev.; a sister, Carol (Merle) Redmond, Marysville; two stepbrothers, Max Lieder and Don (Doris) Lieder, all of Plant City, Fla.; and five grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Douglas; and a sister, Connie Foster.
She was a retired home economics teacher and later worked in the food service department of Columbus City Schools where she retired in 1993. She was a member of Wayne Street United Methodist Church in St. Marys and a 1948 graduate of Hoagland Jackson High School. In 1952, she earned an education degree from The Ohio State University.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday in the Meyer Community Chapel at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community, the Rev. Carol Sainey officiating. Burial is at Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
Calling is 1-2 p.m. Saturday at Otterbein.
